Set in five acres of landscaped gardens with a picturesque lake and fountains. Hornsbury Mill is a charming spot where peacocks, kingfishers, ducks and otters live freely. The perfect spot for weddings, nights away, events and special lunches or dinners at our in-house restaurant – The Wheel Room.
What makes Hornsbury truly special is our 19th Century waterwheel, which has been lovingly restored and runs during daylights. Believed to be the oldest working water mill in Somerset, it’s the perfect historical backdrop to your visit.

Our Cuisine
At Hornsbury Mill, our kitchen is headed up by Head Chef Chris Chatfield.
Having previously worked with and trained by Michael Cains himself, this is the start of a whole brand-new culinary chapter for Hornsbury Mill. Previously holding the prestigious position as Michael Cains’s Head Chef, Chris joins Hornsbury with a wealth of natural and ingrained talent.
Chris believes in using only the freshest ingredients but cooked full of flavour and to absolute perfection.
